Now you have researched your markets and created content you are ready to start promoting your website. This is the key part of the SEO process, and allows you to be creative. Ignite SEO can automatically build links to your website, the primary method which search engines use to determine a websites ranking. You should also mix this with your own manual campaigns, such as creating “link bait” and promoting through hand written press releases. Experiment and find out what works for your industry!
Finding Sites to Post To
One way of finding sites to post to is by using search engines. You enter a keyword, and optionally also a footprint that will find websites running a specific software. The advantage of using footprints is you can find only types of websites you know you can get good links from.
You can also find sites to post to by using the backlink checker, allowing you to copy competitors incoming links.
Setting Up Your Profile
You will need to tell Ignite SEO what values to use when posting to websites. Do this by opening the profile editor.
The information in the profile is used when registering or posting to a website.
These values are matched to the names of the fields in the HTML code of a web page.
It is reccomended you use a real email address when registering so Ignite SEO can confirm the registration emails for you.
Posting To Websites
The registration and posting tab is the core of Ignite SEO’s work to increase your websites ranking in Google.
You will need to adjust the values in your profile (File Menu -> Edit Profile) to tell Ignite SEO where to build links to, the username to use and so on.
